The National Isshin-Shorin-Go Ryu Karate Association
patch was designed by Master Barnes and shares the same symbology
as the A.O.K.A. patch as it applies to the Tori, the Flaming Sai,
and the white background. The Circular shape of the patch and the
associated trim represents the never ending nature of the study
of martial arts, the completeness of the Isshin-Shorin Go Ryu style
and the unity and togetherness of the association. The circular
shape also represents that while Isshin-Shorin-Go Ryu style and
the unity and togetherness of the association. The circular shape
also represents that while Isshin-Shorin-Go Ryu is a complete martial
arts system, it is expanding and improving.
